The North Kingstown Educational Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was created in 2019 to meet the demand for greater support to our school district for student learning enrichment, in and out of the classroom.

Our Staff & Volunteers
Robyn Albuquerque and Dawn Masterson are co-founders of the North Kingstown Education Foundation, which was formed in 2019. They are both North Kingstown High School graduates and lifelong residents of North Kingstown who share a passion for giving back to the community. They are excited to be tackling this new venture together and look forward to building a well rounded foundation that will bridge partnerships with the community and the school district to benefit the future generations of North Kingstown.

Robyn Albuquerque
Robyn Albuquerque is the current President of NKEF. Robyn and her husband, Jason, have 3 children, 2 who attend Fishing Cove Elementary School. Robyn is an active member of the Fishing Cove Elementary School community where she serves as the PTO President. She is also involved in both the Girl Scouts of Southern New England and The Boy Scout organizations. She takes great pride in her family and enjoys spending time with them. In her spare time, you will find her adventuring with her children, capturing precious memories behind her camera, or reading a good book. She looks forward to working hard to get this Foundation off the ground and provide the North Kingstown School community with more resources to go beyond what the district can supply. -
Dawn Masterson
Dawn Masterson is the current Vice President of the NKEF. She and her Husband, Jason, have two middle school aged sons who attend Wickford Middle School. She is an employee of the North Kingstown School District and Saint Bernards Church. She is also currently the Vice President of the WMS PTO and sits on the board at Fishing Cove, as a Member at Large and past President. She is very dedicated to her family, her church and her friends. In her spare time, you will find her watching a basketball game, the great outdoors and knitting. She looks forward to all that this foundation has to offer and what great programs and opportunities it will provide for the students of North Kingstown. -
Carol Vecchione
Carol Vecchione is the Treasure of the NKEF. Carol is a Teacher Assistant at Fishing Cove who loves working with her Kindergarten class. She is also the Treasurer of Fishing Cove PTO. When she is not enjoying her 19 Kindergarten students and PTOing you will find Carol fostering pups for SAVE A LAB and enjoying her 2 grandchildren. She is a wonderful asset to the North Kingstown Educational Foundation.
