Congratulations to all the readers who participated in our annual Reading Madness Challenge this year! You all read for a combined total of over 100,000 minutes and helped the NKEF raise a little over $6,000. We cannot thank you enough for your support and your love of reading. We would also like to thank all of the NKSD faculty/staff and administration, students and family members who supported our annual town-wide reading challenge. Your dedication and hard work helped make this fundraiser a huge success!
We also want to thank all the volunteers from the NK Police Department and the players and coaches from the NKHS Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams who played in our first annual Charity Basketball game on April 1st. Without them it would not have been possible!
A Special thanks to the many people that helped make the game possible:
North Kingstown School Athletic Boosters Club
Austin Maxwell (WMS 8th grader), Announcer
Ryan Hancur and Finn Leedhal, (DMS 8th graders) Scoreboard
